Effective date: October 28, 2026 · Max Ivchenko LLC, doing business as MITA Tennis Academy
This policy explains what information we collect when you use mita.tennis, book a lesson or sign our waiver, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to us at team@mita.tennis.
Contact form. When you request a lesson through the form on our Contacts page, we receive your name, phone number, email address, the player's age, current level, training goal, and anything you write in the message.
Waiver & release. Before a player's first session, a participant (or a parent or legal guardian) signs our online waiver. It asks for the participant's name, date of birth, address, phone and email, an emergency contact, and an electronic signature. If you sign on behalf of a minor, we also collect the child's name and date of birth and your relationship to the child.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to Tennis News, we store your email address.
Automatically collected data. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It records pages visited, time on page, device and browser type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which analyses traffic to tell people from bots. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Many of our players are under 18. We collect information about minors only from a parent or legal guardian through the waiver or the contact form. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 online. If you believe a child has provided us information without a guardian's consent, email us and we will delete it.
Photos and videos taken during lessons and events may be used on our website and social media in line with the media release in the waiver. If you prefer that you or your child not appear in such materials, tell your coach or email us at any time.
Only with service providers that help us run the academy, and only as needed for that purpose: our website hosting company, Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA), and the email service that delivers form submissions and newsletters to us. These providers process data on our instructions. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of players and coaches.
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works without cookies; only the contact and waiver forms require reCAPTCHA to submit.
Contact form messages are kept while we work with you and for up to two years afterwards. Signed waivers are kept for as long as the law requires us to retain them, because they are legal agreements. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained under Google's default settings.
You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you or your child, to correct it, or to delete it (except where we must keep a signed waiver). Email team@mita.tennis and we will respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from Tennis News using the link in any email.
The website uses HTTPS encryption, form data is delivered to us over secure email, and access to submissions is limited to the academy's staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
This summary repeats the policy you accept when signing the waiver, so it is easy to find.
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
