MITA Partnership

MITA Partners with Cherry Creek Boys Tennis — the Brotherhood of the Bruins

MITA Tennis Academy is honored to partner with and support the Cherry Creek High School Boys Tennis program — one of the most decorated high school tennis teams in the United States. For several years, MITA students have had the opportunity to be part of this remarkable tennis family, and we are proud to continue this journey together.

A Legacy Like No Other

The Bruins have a record that speaks for itself. Cherry Creek Boys Tennis has captured 47 state championship titles, including a legendary streak of 19 consecutive state victories that began in 1972. The men's team set a historic record with 316 consecutive wins in team matches — the second-longest winning streak in any high school sport in the country at the time.

This isn't just a tennis program — it's a dynasty built on decades of excellence, discipline, and the kind of competitive culture that shapes athletes for life. For MITA students who train with our academy and compete on the Bruins roster, this is where preparation meets opportunity.

Coach Art Quinn

We know and have heard incredible things about Head Coach Art Quinn — not only from our own students, but from the wider Denver tennis community. Coach Quinn is a true legend with a big heart who lives and breathes the game of tennis. Every interaction with him brings positivity, energy, and genuine passion for developing young athletes.

Art Quinn took over the program in 2015 and has maintained its elite status, winning multiple 5A state championships and earning the "High School Tennis Coach of the Year" award. He is widely regarded as one of the most successful high school tennis coaches in the United States.

Our Students on the Bruins

MITA Students in the Bruins Family

Our coaches are at the Cherry Creek courts not just as guests. Over the years, MITA has become part of the Bruins community — and this season the academy's name stands alongside the program's other supporters at the team's new home.

For MITA, this partnership means more than a logo on a banner at the courts. It means our students have the chance to be part of one of the most competitive and respected high school tennis environments in Colorado — training with world-class coaching, competing against the best, and carrying the Bruins legacy forward.

A New Home, a New Chapter

We congratulate the entire Cherry Creek Boys Tennis program on their new home and infrastructure — a true dream facility for any high school tennis team. New courts, new energy, and the same championship standard that has defined the Bruins for over five decades.

We wish the Bruins an incredible season filled with growth, teamwork, unforgettable matches, and big victories. Go Coach Art, go Bruins!
